Our name

Basalt is the earth’s most common lava rock. Weather and wind give the black rock yellow-brown, reddish-brown or greenish colors. Under the earth’s crust, basalt occurs as lava, but when it solidifies rapidly above the surface, it forms fantastic geometric formations, such as hexagons. We have taken note of this hexagonal shape and made it part of our logo.

The green cube in our hexagon symbolizes olivine, one of many minerals contained in basalt. As long as the olivine is protected from the weather and wind, it retains its beautiful, green color.

We would like to see our hexagon as a symbol of our business – to effectively build and contribute to building secure IT solutions that protect olivine – our customers’ information.
